Theme: Fostering Effective Procurement Systems for Sustainable Development in Africa

We are pleased to announce the Call for Papers for the International Transparency and Accountability Conference 2024 (ITAC 2024), scheduled to take place on the 6^th - 7^th of August, 2024, at the Gran Melia Hotel in Arusha.

ITAC 2024 invites practitioners, policymakers, experts, and professionals to share their real-world experiences, insights, and case studies that contribute to the discourse on enhancing transparency and accountability in public procurement systems for sustainable development in Africa.

Topics:

1. Modernizing African Procurement practices in Preventing corruption.
2. Tech-Driven transparency: Streamlining processes with E-procurement solutions.
3. Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs): Enhancing Efficiency and Accountability in Procurement process.
4. Global Insights into Transparent Procurement: Gaining Knowledge from Worldwide Standards and Changes.
5. The position of Non - state Actors in strengthening oversight function in public procurement processes and procedures:

Submission Guidelines:

Abstract submissions are due by 15^th June, 2024 with a maximum of 300 words. Full papers should be submitted 20^th July 2024 adhering to the paper requirement.

Important Dates:

1. Submitted papers will undergo a thorough review process by practitioners and experts
2. Accepted papers will be featured in the conference proceedings

Review Process:

1. Abstract Submission Deadline: 15^th June, 2024
2. Notification of Abstract Acceptance: 25^th June, 2024
3. Full Paper Submission Deadline: 5^th July, 2024
4. Notification of Paper Acceptance: 15^th July, 2024
5. Conference Dates: 6^th - 7^th August 2024
